The Startling Truth Behind The Wealthy Affiliate Scam!

Earlier today I found a post on one of my YouTube videos claiming that Wealthy Affiliate must be a scam.  This person’s reasoning behind this was because I made mention in my video of some people wondering if it was a scam.  They said that if I had to tell them something to prove that it wasn’t a scam, then that means that it indeed is a scam.  Where do people come up with this stuff?

I basically responded by saying that people have to ask themselves, “is Wealthy Affiliate a scam”, simply to protect themselves and be cautious.  It only makes sense.  There are all kinds of scams out there on the internet, especially when it comes to people trying to sell you something to learn how to make money online.

Well, I think anybody with any sense knows that Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam.  But, as I was browsing the web today I came across a well written article regarding this whole issue of whether or not Wealthy Affiliate is a scam.  I thought I would share it here with my readers as it seems to sum up the whole issue more succinctly than I think I could.

I’ll past the article below, but after you’re finished reading it, come up and check out this link.

Wealthy Affiliate Scam – Truth or Fiction?

In the online marketing world, there is no shortage of scams. Many sites brag about services like coaching, private forums, and business tutorials. Wealthy Affiliate University is one such site. Because you don’t want to wind up losing money instead of making money, it is wise to put on your Wealthy Affiliate scam antennae to see if something like this it is worth your time and money.

The first question is, is there really a Wealthy Affiliate scam? Based on all of the evidence, there is not. Wealthy Affiliate University seems to be very much on the up and up. You can tell this by the number of great testimonials that they have. In addition to this, many Internet marketers with proven success online are also Wealthy Affiliate members.

This means a couple of things for you. It lends credibility to the product. After all, why would someone making six figures (or more) on the Internet waste time on an online site that is not both helpful and positive? Someone with a reputation to protect, would not want to be associated with such a site.

Another reason that having such well respected online marketers as members of Wealthy Affiliate University, you get to benefit from their experience. The founders of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle and Carson (extremely successful marketers in their own right), have created a place that not only offers one-on-one support and coaching, but that also includes an extremely active forum. Through this forum, no matter what your skill level, you get to learn from the pros. So, the Wealthy Affiliate scam story is a big myth.

Well, as you can see, fear of there being a Wealthy Affiliate scam is really unfounded. Wealthy Affiliate University more than over-delivers when it come to providing you with the resources, the support, and the know-how to build a good, solid business with a strong foundation and a great opportunity for financial success.

My Embarrassing Wealthy Affiliate Video

A couple of years ago I created some Wealthy Affiliate videos to put up on YouTube.  I had this idea to make some videos called Wealthy Affiliate for Beginners.  I think it was a good idea and I feel that I shared some beneficial material with the YouTube community, however, being a YouTube newbie I feel like I dropped the ball on follow up.

You see, I didn’t really take the time to respond to comments left on the videos (obviously not going to help the popularity of the videos on YouTube), and the videos, I feel, were not very professional.

But, you might say, a majority of the videos on YouTube are unprofessional.  And with that, I would agree.  When I made those videos, actually I was following the advice of some internet marketers who said that it was more beneficial to put up an unprofessional video because it showed people that you were a real person.  Well, as I go back and look at the videos now, I’m tempted to take them down.

In my old videos, I just threw up a camera in a room in my house, you can hear the traffic going by from the nearby open window, and you can hear my cat meowing around.  In one video you can even see my cat jumping up in my lap and then jumping back down!  Hilarious!

Whether or not I take them down remains to be decided, but I am, however, going to make some new Wealthy Affiliate videos for YouTube, and I hope to make them of a higher quality.

If you would be interested in seeing one of my old videos, I am going to attempt to include one in this blog post for you to see.  Let me know what you think.  Should I take them down completely, or just leave them up with the new versions of my videos?

And of course, as always…
