If you have been contemplating joining Wealthy Affiliate but have been holding off because you are wary of paying the $29 a month membership fee, then wait no longer. I know the title of this article sounds sensational, but it is completely legitimate and true. I know, because I have accomplished this very thing myself. In a period of just over two weeks, I was able to apply some free marketing methods that have allowed me to earn monthly recurring commissions that pay for my Wealthy Affiliate membership. Here is how it happened.
The primary vehicle of training at Wealthy Affiliate is the 8 Week Action Plan. One would assume that you have to work your way through the whole Action Plan and then begin applying the methods to start earning some extra cash. Actually, you do not have to wait that long before getting started. The first couple weeks of the course cover some free marketing methods. These methods are very easy and effective that literally anyone can do, starting today. When I began my training, I decided to start a blog about my experiences with the course materials and my successes and failures with affiliate marketing. I wanted it to be very real and transparent instead of just a bunch of “pie in the sky” nonsense. So I went along working through the action plan, working some of the free methods, and posting my experiences on my blog. To be honest with you, I was not expecting to make any money, at least not yet. I had that subconscious voice in my head saying, “this won’t work for you” and “this only works for other people”.
Then one morning it happened. Before heading off to work, I sat down to check my email. To my complete and utter surprise, there was a message congratulating me on earning my first Wealthy Affiliate commission. Someone had signed up through one of my links! I was ecstatic! Immediately I went to the Wealthy Affiliate website and logged onto the Members Only Forum where I shared my experience with everyone. Of course, many people replied with congratulations, and there were also comments like, “yeah, I remember when I got my first sale too”. After that first sale, I began to wonder if my earning that commission was a fluke or just dumb luck. About a week later, I was checking my email before going to bed and found yet another message congratulating me on making my second Wealthy Affiliate sale! Wow! Now I knew it wasn’t a fluke.
What makes this all so very cool is that when you earn commissions by marketing the Wealthy Affiliate membership, it is a residual income, that gets paid to you each month. That means that for as long as these two individuals are members, I will be earning enough commission to pay for my own membership! And I accomplished that in only 16 days. Now, of course, you know that I will continue to work the free methods so I can earn even more commissions. So in due time, I will be making even more money than is required to cover my membership. Not only that, but I also have the satisfaction of knowing that I helped some fortunate people find the best training they can possibly get in learning how to make money online!
So how can I write an article with such a sensational title? Because I have done it myself. Not only that, but it was indeed truly easy, and took very little time. Like I said, I wasn’t even expecting any commissions to come in. I can not help but wonder what it is going to be like when I really go for it!

just stumbled accross wealthy affiliates last night was up till 3am and woke up this morn still on the fence. always thought makeing real money on the net was impossible – it seems a lot closer today. WAU is seems to be a terrific opportunity. I’m just so negitave about things like this it is really hard to take the leap. I would like to make $47 as it seems to be the entry lvl price from the Int for free and use that to invest in WAU so i cannot realy lose anything. Can you offer me your opinion as to the quickest or best way to do this without putting up any of my own money? and another thing you pay $29 a mo ? so is that the mo. fee after the $47 or $97 or did you just get in earlier and have price protection ? So to clarify if i do sign up today how does the fees work really and when do they take it out @ on the first of the mo , or say the 9th of the next mo a ful mo after i join ? I really want to take action – should my glass be half full ?

Thank you for your questions. I will do my best to answer them.
Regarding the quickest way to make your money back without investing any of your own money, I would create a blog on blogger.com to promote the Wealthy Affiliate membership. The reason that blogger.com is a good choice is because they will allow you to advertise and use affiliate links and such. WordPress.com, on the other hand, does not allow that.
On your blog, create blog posts about Wealthy Affiliate, and end each article with a link that will allow the user to check out Wealthy Affiliate for themselves. This link would be your own Wealthy Affiliate affiliate link, which would give you credit and money if that person should happen to join.
After setting up your blog to promote Wealthy Affiliate, I would write and submit articles to ezinearticles.com. Use catchy attention-grabbing titles. In the author bio section of your article, create a link back to your blog. Try to entice the reader to click your link by offering them additional information.
Submit your blog posts to digg, stumbleupon, and other news article sites. Also, if you really want to make it faster, create a couple of simple youtube videos that have a link in the description pointing to your blog.
After you’ve gotten two sales, your Wealthy Affiliate membership will be paying for itself.

I know you said that you would like to do this without putting up any of your own money, and that’s the only reason I recommend blogger.com. Otherwise, I would prefer and recommend that you set up your blog on a self hosted wordpess blog. This, however, would require you to purchase a hosting account. For this, I use bluehost.com and haven’t had any problems, and it’s not prohibitively expensive.
Regarding my own monthly payment of $29 a month, that is my price because I have been “grandfathered” in at the price that I originally joined at. For all new members, the price will be a consistent $47 a month.
Regarding how the fees work and when they take them out, your first payment will happen right when you first join. Then each payment will be automatically drafted each month on the same date that you joined.
I’m glad you want to take action, and I am glad you are doing your research. Yes, you can make money online, and it does take action. I’m not really sure about your question about whether your glass should be half full, though. If you could clarify what you meant by that, I would be happy to comment further.
