I’m still working my way through the wealth of materials and resources at the Wealthy Affiliate website. It’s going to take some time. Having said that though, I’d like to emphasize a point that I made in a prior blog post that is very important. I realized that I don’t have to wait until I’ve worked all the way through the material to get started marketing online. The same goes for you. The eight weeks of the Action Plan can seem daunting for someone who wants to make money NOW, so you’ve got to realize that you can do both of these tasks at the same time. Which two tasks am I talking about? They are: Learning and Marketing.
Getting back to my point, I’ve been working my way through the tasks presented in the 8 week action plan. One of those tasks is to read through the posts in the $500 Challenge Forum.
On the Wealthy Affiliate website, the creators, Kyle and Carson, have set up a forum and a contest. This contest is for people who are already members of Wealthy Affiliate. The contest is to create the most helpful forum post. This would be a post that effectively communicates some excellent information regarding how to achieve success with affiliate marketing. For this contest, the $500 Challenge Forum was set up. This is the forum into which members submit their posts for consideration. After a designated period of time, one post gets chosen as the winner and the writer of that post is awarded $500.

So, as directed by the 8 Week Action plan, I was reading through some of the posts in the $500 Challenge forum. I read through several posts, and many of them were excellent. One post, however, sticks out in my mind. This is a post submitted by a member that contains 5 or 6 videos demonstrating how to create web pages for your marketing campaigns in under 10 minutes.
So why is this valuable? Two reasons immediately come to mind. 1. Doing any kind of internet or affiliate marketing requires you to be able to create web sites and pages. Often, this is a stumbling point for many people where their progress stops. 2. Being able to observe how someone does this in a video helps you to learn extremely fast, much faster than trying to read through a tutorial.
After reading through this post and watching the videos (which took me about an hour), I sat back and said to myself, “Wow, that’s worth the cost of the membership right there.”

You see, as I said before, in order to succeed in affiliate marketing you have to be able to create web pages. This is something that you have to be able to do quickly and repeatedly. You can’t allow yourself to get caught up taking days to create a web page. You’re creating a web page, not a piece of classic heirloom furniture.
So that my friends is why this one post alone is worth the price of the membership at Wealthy Affiliate. If you’ve been considering joining Wealthy Affiliate but just haven’t taken that step yet, then don’t wait any longer! This single post that I’m talking about is just one of many components within the Wealthy Affiliate system that are worth the cost of membership all by themselves.
